Kailash Kumar, having graduated from LUHMS Jamshoro. He was posted in the Pakistan Army’s medical corps and assigned to the Ministry of Defence. Kumar completed his MBBS from LUHMS Jamshoro in Hyderabad and was then commissioned in the Pakistan Army.

The officer, who is a Hindu, is the first to be chosen for the emergency medicine residency program at the University Hospital of Birmingham. He also received Tamga-e-Baqa and Tamga-e-Azam military awards. He has also given a lot of his time to help people in remote areas of Pakistan such as Tharparkar, Gilgit-Baltistan, and the Hunza Valley. He received an award for volunteering for 36 days at a post near Mount K2, which was at an altitude of almost 22,000 feet.
