The Hindu officer Dr. Kailash Kumar was born in 1981, he is from the Sindh province’s Tharparkar area and is the country’s first officer from the Hindu minority community to hold the position.

Kailash Kumar, having graduated from LUHMS Jamshoro. He was posted in the Pakistan Army’s medical corps and assigned to the Ministry of Defence. Kumar completed his MBBS from LUHMS Jamshoro in Hyderabad and was then commissioned in the Pakistan Army.

The officer, who is a Hindu, is the first to be chosen for the emergency medicine residency program at the University Hospital of Birmingham.
